I spent more than five years in external audit, reviewing financial statements prepared under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and assessing internal control systems under International Standards on Auditing (ISA). Throughout those years, I kept seeing the same problem: successful companies held back by disorganised records, reconciliations pushed to year-end, approvals stuck in one person’s email, and controls that exist on paper but aren’t actually applied.
I founded Bayyinah to fix this problem before it reaches the auditor. Instead of reviewing a company’s numbers once a year, we work with management to strengthen the foundation its financial decisions rely on. We apply the same rigour auditors do, but early enough that there’s still time to act on the findings.
I lead every engagement personally, the work is documented to the standard an auditor expects, and it’s delivered in Arabic or English.
